In a few minutes I am going to leave to participate in "last Saturday knitting", which has been moved to 2:00pm on the last Saturday of each month, so I have only a little bit a time to quickly post some photos of the finished vest for my niece. (Sorry it's not knitting, but it IS something I finished, which we haven't seen much of lately, so.....baby steps....)
Anyway, I decided that just pinking the edges like I showed you yesterday looked pretty sloppy, so I added a "wrapped edge - the cheater's way" per the directions in Nancy's book. So very, very easy, and I'm soooo much happier with the finished product. Here's the front:

It's adorable! I do think the edging really finishes the work.
I really like it, too! And I totally agree that the edging is just right. Too cute! (And I, for the record, couldn't care less if it's knitting or not. Show off -- you deserve it! Great job!)

and reversible is always a good idea! i really like the purple back, with the 2 flowers peeking out, saying 'hi!' So Cute!
